I became a designer because I wanted to help people complete tasks in the simplest, least frustrating way possible. My motivation as a designer is to leave the world better than how I found it.
Originally from a small town in New Hampshire, I started my journey as a motion designer, creating animations for promotions and 3D renders just for fun. In college, I discovered user experience through my community, and it quickly became my passion, launching my career in UX.
Over the last five years, I’ve worked on a variety of products, with a strong focus on enterprise and SaaS solutions. I’ve collaborated on projects in industries such as technology, finance, insurance, telecommunications, automotive, human resources, public service, and more.
Dive deep into understanding the problem, the users, business objectives, the broader context, and the competitive landscape to gain comprehensive insight.
Explore a broad array of ideas, embracing creativity and experimentation. Sketch concepts, craft wireframes, and build prototypes.
Assess the feasibility of the product and collect user feedback. Be prepared to adjust the product based on insights gathered.
The design process is never static. Use data and metrics to iterate and continuously improve the product’s performance.
I dedicate time to truly understanding my users through both quantitative research and direct conversations, where I learn about their concerns and challenges. This hands-on approach allows me to create designs that directly address their needs.
If you'd like to know more, let’s set up a time, and I’d be happy to walk you through my process :)
